Activate Your Core
Promotes Good Posture
Reduce Back Strain: Kneeling chairs relieve the strain on the lower back, improve posture, and encourage tiny movements which encourage blood flow and strengthen your postural muscles. The seat is angled forwards to balance the pelvis and force the postural muscles to correctly align your back, shoulders and neck.
Improves Blood Flow: The kneeling position encourages movement, which encourages good blood flow and prevents stiffness. Sitting still for extended periods can slow the metabolism, which in turn can inhibit your body's ability to break down body fat and regulate blood sugar levels.
Promotes Good Posture: Kneeling chairs encourage good posture, which will help take the strain off your hips. Not only that, the kneeling posture will make your muscles work all day, building strength around the hip, back, shoulders and neck.
Stylish Design: The stylish, bent-wood design and stitched canvas padding, will fit into any home office and perfectly paired with our lighter tone of wood desktops, like our Bamboo or Rubberwood range.
Our Ergonomic Kneeling Chair is a game-changer for back pain relief, posture improvement, and productivity boost. Crafted with a sleek bentwood frame, this chair promotes a healthy posture by distributing weight evenly and providing ample support with its mesh cushions. Its versatile design fits seamlessly into any workspace, while its gentle rocking motion aids concentration and enhances blood flow. With a weight capacity of 100kg and stylish aesthetics, it's the perfect addition to your workspace. Experience comfort and efficiency with Desky's Ergonomic Kneeling Chair.
Crafted with your comfort in mind, this chair not only promotes optimal posture but also prioritizes your comfort above all else. Featuring generous 10cm thick knee padding and seat cushioning, our design exceeds the standard, ensuring unparalleled support. The rocker bottom enhances mobility, offering greater freedom of movement compared to traditional kneeling chairs with casters.
Embracing various sitting positions throughout your day not only boosts circulation but also enhances overall comfort and attentiveness. Whether resting your weight on the forward-sloping seat or positioning one or both shins on, in front of, between, or beside the knee pads, you'll find personalized comfort at every angle. For additional versatility, experiment with traditional seating by placing your feet on the floor. Engage in gentle rocking motions by shifting your weight or pushing off with your foot from any seated position.

Using a kneeling chair can offer several benefits, including:
* Improved Posture: It helps to keep your back in a straight, upright position, reducing slouching.
* Reduced Back Strain: By distributing weight away from your lower back, it can help alleviate back pain and pressure.
* Core Engagement: The lack of a backrest encourages your core muscles to work to keep you stable and upright.
* Active Sitting: The rocking base promotes small, continuous movements that can improve circulation and reduce stiffness.
Ergonomic kneeling chairs offer a unique way to improve posture and activate core muscles during seated tasks. Understanding how to sit in a kneeling chair is essential to maximize its benefits, ensuring proper weight distribution and alignment. This method of sitting on knees reduces pressure on the lower back and encourages a natural spinal curve. Incorporating kneeling chair ergonomics into your workspace helps maintain comfort and promotes better posture. While these chairs allow for extended periods of comfortable use, it's best to periodically stand and stretch to optimize well-being.
Not everyone may find all-day use suitable, so it's crucial to heed your body's signals and rest when necessary. For more insights, explore our guides on the advantages of kneeling chairs, how long you can use kneeling chairs for and if you can use them all day.
In truth, you won’t use the knee pads all of the time. The whole idea of the kneeling chair is to encourage you to change position and keep moving. Even so, the pads on our chair will make sure your knees never get sore, no matter how much you use them.
Kneeling chairs encourage good posture, which will help take the strain off your hips. Not only that, the kneeling posture will make your muscles work all day, building strength around the hip, back, shoulders and neck.
It works very well, I am using it all day long. It changed my body posture (no more hunching forward), no more back-pain (it exercises the lower back muscles) and it decompressed the the vertebrae compressed in front by leaning forward (that released the meridians). Assembling - piece of cake. The price is very friendly. The gap between the kneepads is important - it allows having legs down - not just kneeling. Well done.
The product reflects what it is written on the website. Its build is a little shaky at the legs while sitting down. So far so good. A good alternative to a normal desk chair.
An affordable solution to the classic desk chair to improve your posture and reduce back pain.
Item as described. No issues with delivery. Good quality and easy to put together. Thank you.
love it
I was having back and hip pain with a regular office chair (high quality). The kneeling chair is perfect - it allows for great comfort, takes pressure off my back and hips, and allows me some movement but not so much movement that it becomes challenging to track content on the screen.
Sitting on regular office chairs all day is awful for your back, hips and posture. The kneeling chair takes care of all that and helps you engage your core muscles for an added benefit. Strongly recommend. Every office should have these kneeling chairs.
I’m so happy with this chair. Works great for me - and very stylish! Easy to build and all components are good quality.
Love the chair overall and the concept works. The shin cushion edge is a bit harsh though, a curved approach would soften it.
Great chair - fixes back and neck pain caused using the old chair
The chair was easy to construct for a person with practical skills. A diagram showing size and slope of supporting braces would be helpful.
The seat of the chair is very comfortable and our backs feel much better. However, the shin pads are taking some getting used to!
I love it so much! It helps me to keep the good sitting gesture.
