Yes, the Spin Keypad is a replacement for the default controller. You can mount it wherever is most convenient for you, using the included screws. It has a 2-meter cord, allowing for flexible placement.
Spin keypad looks great and after a year of having it I’m happy with it however I do find sometimes it lags a bit when I try to change the height. It might take a few goes to get it to start moving
Nifty little controller that is a bliss to use and looks great on your standing desk. If you want to have a lot of leg space (sideways), not to mention adding Desky drawer, then I highly recommend this controller. I was able to mount the drawer flush to the desk leg with plenty of room still left for the controller
