Our current softwood is available in American Rustic Pine and Red Cedar. All sustainably sourced from Vietnam and featuring our market-leading thick options, your desktop can handle all the accessories you need at 25mm in thickness.
The American Rustic Pine desk features a rustic distressed appearance and texture, meticulously crafted by hand. Its surface may exhibit delightful irregularities, so we recommend pairing it with a desk mat or mouse pad for a smooth gliding mouse. Additionally, the desk is enhanced with a walnut stain, lending it a rich color.

Desky's softwood desk tops are made from sustainably sourced and manufactured wood slabs. Our Rustic Pine and Red Cedar wood is sourced from America from responsibly managed forests. The wood is cut, sanded, and finished to create durable desk tops. Our commitment to sustainability ensures eco-friendly products that last.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals. (Bamboo desktops only)
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.
Desky promises that the highest quality materials and manufacturing procedures are met to ensure no harm to users young or old. All of our desktops meet Australian standards and cause no risk to any working environment.
Our clean and sustainable manufacturing procedures maintain the highest level of engineering and craftsmanship resulting in an odour-free clean work surface that won’t stink out your office with a new furniture smell.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness. This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 25mm desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
FSC certified: Desky supports responsible forest management and is committed to producing quality products from quality materials that are backed by globally recognised certifications. We source our raw materials from suppliers who have been independently verified as compliant with a chain of custody standards, meaning that materials are produced using legally-sourced wood fibres from certified sustainably managed forests.

All our Desky wood desk tops have pre drilled inserts which match up to our Desky Dual frame, while it may be possible to retrofit our table tops onto your existing furniture we cannot guarantee a fit. Please check the specifications or reach our to helpful team.
Solid wood desktops are durable and will even harden over time. While they are still susceptible to scratches and dents, this isn't always a bad thing, as it can add character to the desktop as it ages. As a natural material, the wood will also get slightly lighter or darker over time.
Our Softwood desktops are coated with a durable polyurethane finish, giving them a smooth surface. The exception is our Rustic finish Softwood desktops, which have a nitrocellulose stain finish that keeps the natural, distressed surface of the wood.
Our desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
Unfortunately, our Softwood desktops are only offered in a limited selection of rectangular sizes and are not available with an Ergo Edge option.

These desktops come with predrilled holes for our dual motor frame. However, if you had an electric drill, you could secure any frame to this desktop.

The product itself is very beautiful, I only needed the table top for my standing desk legs and frame. The first tabletop came in with a large crack but with the amazing customer service, I was able to get a replacement easily. I will recommend Desky for any one with a budget who wants a standing desk. Their hardwood finish is absolutely beautiful and withstands my two 27" monitor weights and heavier metal accessories like a mechanical keyboard.
I have been interested in a desky for over a year, I’m so pleased I invested in this desk! The quality and feel of the desk top is amazing, all the electronics are so sturdy and sound and easy to use. I’m really happy with it and we will be replacing my fiancé’s desk soon with a desky too! We love them. Also, I have to say I accidentally ordered the wrong size when ordering and the team were really quick and helpful to assist me in correcting my error, it was so painless. Their customer service is really good.
