The Desky Hercules features a quick-release VESA plate with standard 75x75mm and 100x100mm mounting patterns. For monitors with a recessed VESA mounting area, you may need to use standoffs or a compatible VESA adapter to ensure the plate can sit flush and connect securely. The arm's detachable design simplifies this process by allowing you to attach the VESA plate to the monitor first, then slide the monitor onto the arm.
Easy to install, it's a great stand for an incredible price. If you have a 43" Ultra wide Samsung Odyssey monitor - this works a treat!
It was pretty dang expensive, but it does the job holding up my 45" LG 5k2k so can't complain. Only the upper section of the arm (eg the radius/ulna) is adjustable in angle, the lower arm (eg the humerus) does not adjust. Good quality materials, though. Feels super sturdy and like it will last.
