Desky Minimalist Hidden Keypad

This is a great option for people who don't want the keypad to be visible (or bump-into-able) when not in use. I only change desk height a few times a day (mainly for meetings, and when I want to change position for a couple hours at a time) so I appreciate the aesthetic of having the keypad away most of the time. It doesn't wake from sleep buy pressing the up/down buttons, if you want to make a small adjustment (or set a new height preset) you need to hit one of the numbers first.

Also the spring attachment works perfectly when unattached, but friction when attached means that it might not pop out fully by about .5cm. This doesn't effect functioning of the unit, however you need to pull it all the way out before it can be pushed back in. It would be good to be able to specify an alternate control option for a new desky frame on purchase, so you don't end up with a second control unit that you're not using. Overall, I prefer it to the hidden keypad to the default one, however I do wish it had the tactile nature of the default controller.

Easy to affix if you have a power drill, I think doing this by hand would be a hassle. This unit hides well and is generally good all round.

It's the only item on Desky's store than I've not rated 5 stars and that's due to a very low sensitivity touch pad. Sometimes I have to tap it, hard, a few times or put my fingers underneath the pad to stabilise it, then press firmly with my thumb to register my input. If this had physical buttons like the default touchpad this would be the perfect product.

Easy install and functions as intended. It would be better if the keypad ejected more smoothly, the spring that pops it out is somewhat tight and I am not sure how durable it will be in the long run. Worth the money to keep the desk looking clean
