Desky CoilFlex Ergonomic Office Chair

This office chair was really easy to put together. It has nice adjustable back support with a comfortable cushy seat. The mesh back helps me stay cooler when using the chair over a long day.

Very comfortable and ergonomic chair! Exactly what I was looking for. However I found the cushion a bit extra firm for my liking and the seat size to be a bit small. Even though I’m a petite woman I prefer a bigger seat size. Whether the cushion holds up over time, time will tell. So far, it is very comfortable and does the job.

Chair is the new favourite in the study space. The colour is great.

We had some delay/mixup on shipping but desky were constantly in communication while it got cleared up

At first I had problems with the chair because I couldn’t figure out the adjustments. I would not have had these problems if a booklet had been enclosed that specifically (in words) described what each lever and knob does. The reason I specify “words” is that a small tag accompanied the product that illustrated with pictures how to assemble the chair. But it provided no details on which knob or lever makes what adjustment. You’d think I could just try the various levers and figure it out; however, one lever was stuck and one was virtually hidden. That is, I didn’t even notice the one lever that lies flush against another part of the chair. Consequently, I had to contact customer service to ask what to do. The person I reached via chat (and subsequently email) was both helpful and friendly. And with customer service’s advice, I managed to fix all the required adjustments to make the chair comfortable for me. It has been perfect ever since. But I still wish I had a booklet to consult in the future if necessary. I’m likely old fashioned, but I keep documentation that comes with products. So while the chair itself is a 5/5, the lack of an instruction booklet was a problem for me.

It is a good chair. The lumber support is superb. Very easy to assemble too. I am still figuring out all the seat adjustments. It would be great if they had an tutorial on the various controls.

I bought the chair primarily for its color. It does look good. I am 5"11" and on the heavier side, and it is nowhere near as comfortable as my Aeron. The lumbar support is very aggressive and can only be adjusted up and down, not in and back. We managed to unscrew it and remove it, but now it is a little less supportive, but at least it doesn't feel like someone is constantly shoving my back. It might work better for someone with shorter legs who isn't as far back in the chair. Seat base is OK but also a little short and has more hard spots than a mesh base. The headrest is however very comfortable and an improvement over my apron which does not have one.

I took a long time before I ordered this chair as I had already bought 3 reputable similar priced ergonomic office Chairs prior to this Chair. I have a few issues with lumber spine and sitting for any length of time takes a toll - this chair has a great seat that I feel is different to others on the market and has made a huge difference in how long I can sit and my comfort after sitting. I wish I had done this purchase earlier.
