Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness. This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 25mm desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.

Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.

Yes! Our Desky Softwood L-Shape Sit-Stand Desks offer the flexibility to switch the return from left to right. This adaptable feature is available with the desktop materials: Eco Melamine, Bamboo, Softwood, Rubberwood, and Hardwood.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 200kg capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 140kg.
Solid wood desktops are durable and will even harden over time. While they are still susceptible to scratches and dents, this isn't always a bad thing, as it can add character to the desktop as it ages. As a natural material, the wood will also get slightly lighter or darker over time.
Our Softwood desktops are coated with a durable polyurethane finish, giving them a smooth surface. The exception is our Rustic finish Softwood desktops, which have a nitrocellulose stain finish that keeps the natural, distressed surface of the wood.
No, unfortunately, our Softwood desktops are only offered in a limited selection of rectangular sizes and are not available with an Ergo Edge option.
If you are interested in a custom size or shape desktop, we can assist with a premium melamine desktop option. We also have specific desktops available with Ergo Edges in a number of colours and finishes. Custom orders may vary in price from our standard size range of desktops and usually require a 5 - 7 week lead time.
Yes, we offer this frame in 3 colours: white, matte black, and space grey.
For ease of shipping and assembly, all L-shaped desktops come in two pieces, the main desk (1) and the return (2). We include all the necessary hardware to join and align both pieces seamlessly.
Yes, our Softwood desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection to your Desky frame. You won't need a power drill—just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys for a simple, solid assembly.

Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly takes about 45 minutes. Our desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection, no power tools needed. We recommend two people for flipping the desk upright after assembly.
For detailed, step by step instructions please watch the assembly video for each desk or refer to the instructions manual included with each desk.
We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.

Everything supplied. And now I can enjoy my L shaped sit stand in Acacia which looks even better in person than the screen does. The app is handy as well and the control I found simple to setup and use.
