Need an adjustable desk that offers you world-class stability... but with even more space? The Desky L-Shaped Custom Melamine Sit Stand Desk has all the great features of our sit stand frame. The difference is that it allows for an entire extra work surface!
L-Shaped desks are perfect to fit into corner spaces, but equally ideal if your work requires you to use more than one surface. They can also create cubicle spaces in offices when required if they don’t already exist.

Offering total stability, whatever you use the desk for you can safely trust that it won’t wobble or sway.

Yes, we offer the choice of having your desk configured with either a left or right return. You can select this when choosing the desktop size and colour. The return is the shorter side of the desktop.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 225kg capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 150kg.
Yes, we can help create a desktop size, shape and finish to meet your requirements. We have a wider selection of melamine desktop colour finishes available on request. Ie. if you prefer a square edge on the front of the desk instead of a curved front edge.
Custom orders may vary in price from our standard size range of desktops and usually require a 5 - 7 week lead time. Please contact us via the Contact page or email orders@desky.com.au directly for a quote and more information.
Yes, we offer this frame in 4 colours: white, matte black, wheat and space grey.
Yes! Desky's melamine desktops are odorless, non-toxic, and VOC-free. They’re made from safe, eco-friendly materials that don’t release harmful emissions, ensuring a clean and healthy workspace.
As standard, all L-shape desktops are split into two pieces for easy shipping and assembly – the main desk (1) and the return (2). The included connectors and hardware make joining and aligning the two pieces very easy.
The difference is in the shape of the desktop. Check out the specifications tab for a top-down drawing of both designs. The Eco L uses a right-angle join making it more cost-effective and more efficient to manufacture.
Whereas the regular L shape has some curved components which require a longer manufacturing time
Yes, our Melamine desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
No, caster wheels are not recommended for L-Shape frames to avoid structural strain and potential damage to the desk.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Melamine desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.
For detailed, step by step instructions please watch the assembly video for each desk or refer to the instructions manual included with each desk.
No. We do not offer an assembly service, but setting up your desk is straightforward. Every desk includes a step-by-step instruction manual and pre-drilled desktop holes for easy assembly using basic hand tools. You can also follow along with our comprehensive installation videos on the Desky YouTube Channel.
We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
Love the size, the way it looks, the rounded corners, the smooth operation and assembly. Its worth the price.
18 months after purchase, I’ve come back to do a review and firmly say there are no regrets with the melamine. I was a bit apprehensive at first, initially thinking that it was perhaps going to look or feel cheap. But the full thing looks great – and considering 1) how much easier this finish is to care for (i.e. no wood treatment nor fretting over it being left in the sun), 2) the smooth curves and of course 3) the lower overall cost, it would be an easy decision to buy again if I had to.
This product is what you are looking for !! My girlfriend bought the biggest L shape with two drawers and 9 electrical outlet with wire passtrough 4 screens stands with one for my laptop also come with additionnal usb port and little colorfull light. What a amazing product. But you will need a few more bucks than a normal one. In total 3350$. Spend about 3 hours to assembling with sometime a few ..... words because i've been alone to do the job. But at the end WOW i llove it.
If you're looking for multiple options and a good reason to standup whenever you're working from home or doing a streaming podcasting or gaming reasons. You would love the new investment of enjoying yourself with the Standup desk from Desky.
You can drill holes on the desk if you need to, great for cable management and the height is programmable and you can manage it to whenever suits your needs. Great for stretching as well too whenever you need to.
The only thing you would need and improvement on is have 27inch Computer Mount that would be viable for Ultra Tower cases suporting 40kg, aside from that you have a great setup that will last you for a very long time overall.
If you're looking at investing something for gaming, streaming, podcasting or working from home, or pretty much any kind of use, you would not regret investing into a standup desk. Its a great multi purpose technology device that you will not go wrong and it will last you for a very long time.
I recently purchased the L Shaped Melamine sit stand desk. I love the classic oak colour of the desktop and it goes really well with the white legs. The desk is exceptionally stable even at my standing height for a 6 foot person.
I purchased the largest size desk Desky sell and it provides a fantastic amount of space to customise your set up as needed.
The set up was straight forward and the delivery was fast.
Purchased this desk for my son for xmas. Instructions were easy to follow. Desk is made of high quality materials and the lifting system is so quiet and smooth. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.
Good quality desk. Cable management and power point are essential.
Just wanted to share how impressed I am with my new L-Shape melamine standing desk from Desky.com.au!
Firstly, the delivery to Adelaide was incredibly fast, it arrived much quicker than I expected. Unboxing it, the 'Sublime Teak' finish looks absolutely fantastic and feels really high quality.
Installation was a breeze too! The instructions were super clear, and I had it up and ready in no time. It's truly transformed my workspace. Highly recommend!
I just wanted to say a big thank you—I did receive my order today, and you have one very happy customer!
Everything arrived in full and exactly when you said it would. Once we unpacked everything, it was just as we expected and hoped.
After watching your informative videos, we got to work assembling the desk. While it took us a little longer than 45 minutes, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Nothing was difficult, and everything worked perfectly the first time.
Now that it’s all setup, we couldn't be happier! I’m still discovering new features—like connecting it to my phone—which is just brilliant. And in honor of the day it arrived, we’ve even named it Sir Patrick of Desky (thanks to St. Patrick’s Day) and hence the green display.
Thanks again for such a fantastic product and experience!
Absolutely love it
Great service when I picked up my desk and accessories. Assembly was easy and straightforward and all the pieces fit perfectly. Just make sure you have assistance when flipping the desk. It is quite heavy which is a good thing for its stability. Desky is definitely the go to for a sit stand desk.
Nice & sturdy. Looks good. Assembly is also easy.
