Pre-drilled holes: Desky’s laminate desktop comes with precision drilled holes to assist in an easy and quick assembly. The holes align perfectly with our frame and allow the user to simply attach the desktop without any power tools.
Laminated Top and Bottom: Our laminate desktops use only the best materials with a high-pressure laminate coating on the top and bottom. This provides full protection to your daily use and is a durable material that is considered industry standard within any office.
ABS Edging: The desktop edges are then sealed using 0.1" ABS edge tape that protects the core material that makes up the leading 0.1" thickness. The edge tape is specifically matched to the desktop finish meaning you will always have a clean consistent aesthetic throughout the desktop.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

Yes, we offer the choice of having your desk configured with either a left or right return. You can select this when choosing the desktop size and colour. The return is the shorter side of the desktop.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 225kg capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 150kg.
Yes, we can help create a desktop size, shape and finish to meet your requirements. We have a wider selection of melamine desktop colour finishes available on request. Ie. if you prefer a square edge on the front of the desk instead of a curved front edge.

Yes! Desky's melamine desktops are odorless, non-toxic, and VOC-free. They’re made from safe, eco-friendly materials that don’t release harmful emissions, ensuring a clean and healthy workspace.
As standard, all L-shape desktops are split into two pieces for easy shipping and assembly – the main desk (1) and the return (2). The included connectors and hardware make joining and aligning the two pieces very easy.
The difference is in the shape of the desktop. Check out the specifications tab for a top-down drawing of both designs. The Eco L uses a right-angle join making it more cost-effective and more efficient to manufacture.
Whereas the regular L shape has some curved components which require a longer manufacturing time
Yes, our Melamine desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Melamine desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.

18 months after purchase, I’ve come back to do a review and firmly say there are no regrets with the melamine. I was a bit apprehensive at first, initially thinking that it was perhaps going to look or feel cheap. But the full thing looks great – and considering 1) how much easier this finish is to care for (i.e. no wood treatment nor fretting over it being left in the sun), 2) the smooth curves and of course 3) the lower overall cost, it would be an easy decision to buy again if I had to.
This product is what you are looking for !! My girlfriend bought the biggest L shape with two drawers and 9 electrical outlet with wire passtrough 4 screens stands with one for my laptop also come with additionnal usb port and little colorfull light. What a amazing product. But you will need a few more bucks than a normal one. In total 3350$. Spend about 3 hours to assembling with sometime a few ..... words because i've been alone to do the job. But at the end WOW i llove it.
If you're looking for multiple options and a good reason to standup whenever you're working from home or doing a streaming podcasting or gaming reasons. You would love the new investment of enjoying yourself with the Standup desk from Desky.
You can drill holes on the desk if you need to, great for cable management and the height is programmable and you can manage it to whenever suits your needs. Great for stretching as well too whenever you need to.
The only thing you would need and improvement on is have 27inch Computer Mount that would be viable for Ultra Tower cases suporting 40kg, aside from that you have a great setup that will last you for a very long time overall.

I recently purchased the L Shaped Melamine sit stand desk. I love the classic oak colour of the desktop and it goes really well with the white legs. The desk is exceptionally stable even at my standing height for a 6 foot person.

Great service when I picked up my desk and accessories. Assembly was easy and straightforward and all the pieces fit perfectly. Just make sure you have assistance when flipping the desk. It is quite heavy which is a good thing for its stability. Desky is definitely the go to for a sit stand desk.
