Illuminate your desk and workspace with this space-saving monitor lamp. Designed to fit atop any monitor from 1 to 3 cm in thickness and up to 0.8 cm in width via the weighted clip, it’s perfect for backlighting or for lighting your desk to read.
The major plus of the Desky Monitor Backlight is the positioning, giving you illumination from above without taking up any additional desk space. So no need to use up precious desk space with a high lamp—simply place the strip atop your monitor, attach it to USB, and you’re ready to go.
The automatic dimmer will vary the light depending on the levels in your space, so you can concentrate on your work without worrying too much about your eyes. The Desky Dual Zone computer light is not suitable for a laptop due to its clamp being designed specifically for monitor use.
The power output is 0.8 watts, and the light bar for monitor can emit 700 lux with a color temperature of 2700~6500K.
The light bar sits inline or slightly off from your screen so depending on your 3rd party web cam clamping style you might be able to fit both.
Desky's monitor light bar has been a great addition, allowing me to easily adjust the lighting on my desk throughout the day (no more letting the daylight fade and being too focused to leave the desk to turn a light on) and keeping my desk space free from clutter. I appreciate the multiple tones and brightness levels, and it feels sturdy attached to my monitor. One thing to consider though, is whether you'll be able to reach a USB port with the supplied cord (they advise not using a different one) from where you want to position the light. For me I found it worked on one of my external monitors but not the other, just based on where their USB ports are positioned.
Desky’s light bar is exactly the solution I was looking for. It’s really easy to use with the remote control and fits perfectly on my monitor for my dual monitor set up.
When I’m working at night or early mornings, I need some kind of light source and this perfect illuminates my space.

It's exactly as described, very easy to set up and it doesn't need to be attached to my computer for it to be functional. I use it a lot during rainy days when the lighting is not great or when I'm gaming at night.
Great for easing the eye strain with the lights off, and keeping your workspace illuminated.
I feel like the back lights need to be a bit brighter, and the ability to modify the front and back light brightness independently would make this a 5 star
I like the fact that I get to choose from three different light colors to light up my desk. The LED lamp is of high quality and the material the lap is made of is high end as well. The multicolor backlight seemed superfluous at the beginning but turned out to add a nice little touch to the desk room.

Great quality, speedy delivery. Solves all my pre-dawn lighting needs. I wish the power button wasn't black on a black surface, a white ring or some light-color indicator around the power button would make it easier to find in the dark if someone was to start using their workstation before dawn.
The BEST desk light ever. It’s bright enough to work through the night and the coloured back light is definitely a bonus feature!
These are a MUST have, they are fantastic and very slim line and so practical, I use it daily.
I've never had one before, but the light it provides on the desk is amazing.
You do have to be careful not to bump it or the light will fall off its base.
