Three-layer cross-hatch lamination: Our bamboo desktops are manufactured using thousands of bamboo strips that have been UV cured, laminated and layered in a cross-hatch formation resulting in one of the strongest desks in our range.
Durable Coating: The bamboo desktop after being assembled is then coated using multiple layers of polyurethane finish which seal the bamboo pieces and ensures that the desk will last a lifetime. This coating is non-toxic, child friendly and also spill-resistant.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

Yes! Our Desky Bamboo L-Shape Sit-Stand Desks offer the flexibility to switch the return from left to right. This adaptable feature is available with the desktop materials: Eco Melamine, Bamboo, Softwood, Rubberwood, and Hardwood.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 200kg capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 140kg.
Our bamboo desktops have a smooth, flat surface. They're made from 100% compressed solid bamboo and are coated with a durable, wear-resistant UV finish. This provides a protective and long-lasting seal without any harmful chemicals.
Unfortunately, our Bamboo desktops are only available in a select range of rectangular sizes.

Yes, we offer this frame in 3 colours: white, matte black, and space grey.
For ease of shipping and assembly, all L-shaped desktops come in two pieces, the main desk (1) and the return (2). We include all the necessary hardware to join and align both pieces seamlessly.
Yes, our Bamboo desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection to your Desky frame. You won't need a power drill—just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys for a simple, solid assembly.

Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly takes about 45 minutes. Our desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection, no power tools needed. We recommend two people for flipping the desk upright after assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
My experience ordering my Desky was wonderful. Simple, easy, and fast. We couldn’t believe the quality of the desk when we put it together, which was so simple. I already feel a difference in sore hips now that I’m able to sit and stand throughout the day. And it’s also beautful!
I love it. Building took some work but the instructions were clear, although I did open the boxes in the wrong order and build the desk without the L which complicated things but only a little.
I am 4’11” so I’m thrilled to have a desk that actually goes low enough to enable me to sit correctly. I couldn’t find ANY other desks or even plain tables at the correct height. I’ve never sat at a desk that was correctly sized for me and I’m amazed at the difference even if everyone keeps commenting on how low it is 😂
The desk itself is also well constructed and I like the dark bamboo I chose a lot.
My 1 problem with this desk is in the photos it looked like 1 solid piece but it is actually 2 pieces. Not a deal breaker, still a great deal!!

Setting up the desk was relatively easy and the desk works like a charm. I highly recommend getting a cable management system. Mine arrives soon and I can’t wait to wrangle those cables.
My wife bought the first Desky for working from home and I quickly purchased one for home as well when I saw the quality of the build and how easily they were to assemble.
I had a 'desktop' stand up desk at work which I thought was great until I discovered Desky. I quickly replaced the desktop version with my beloved 1800mm Desky and now I'm venturing into an 'L' shaped version.. I love them!
I am 5'2" tall and about a buck 120, let me tell you, this desk was so easy to put together!!! The only thing I needed help with was putting the top on. The instructions were flawless and the pictures were accurate and helpful unlike other companies who don't care if the customer can tell how to put together the product. This desk is worth every penny and more. My husband is so much happier working now that he can move his desk when he needs to. Thanks Desky!
