Desky offers a wide range of hardwood desk tops, sourced from various regions to ensure quality and sustainability. Our Walnut wood comes from America, along with White oak, while Maple is sourced from Canada. White ash and Black Ash are sourced from France, and White Oak is also sometimes sourced from Germany. We also utilize Teak wood and Saman from Laos, as well as Pheasantwood and Acacia butcher block from responsibly managed forests in Vietnam.
Each hardwood is carefully selected and crafted to create durable and beautiful desk tops. With our commitment to responsible sourcing, you can enjoy the natural beauty of hardwood while supporting sustainable practices.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness.
This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is pro actively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness.
The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Butcher Block Solid Wood Construction: Our premium Acacia hardwood desktops are crafted using the highly durable and aesthetically rich butcher block technique. Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

Although the Desky Dual Mini is our smallest height adjustable desk, it still comes with our premium Desky Dual sit stand desk frame which utilises two motors.
Definitely not! The Desky Dual Mini may be smaller in size but it uses the same motors and control system as our larger Desky Dual sit stand desk range so there is no compromise in quality or function. The only restriction is that the desk frame does not suit all of our under-desk cable management options. For this desk we recommend the Desky Mini Cable Tray.
Yes, you can use this desk frame and change the desktop to a larger size if your workspace or office changes in the future. The Desky Dual Mini desk frame supports desktop lengths from 800mm up to 2000mm.
In short, the DESKY Dual Sit Stand desks offers a greater weight capacity and height range and better stability at raised heights with dual motors and a 3-stage lifting system. This is ideal for heavier computer setups and those wanting the best sit to stand height range.
The DESKY Single Sit Stand desk frame is powered by a single electric motor that has an 80kg capacity and height range of 73-123cm. The DESKY Dual Sit Stand desk frame is our premium desk frame powered by a dual motor system with 150kg capacity and best in class height range of 60-125cm.

Unfortunately Ergo Edges are not available for these desktops but we do have specific desktops available with Ergo Edges in a number of colours and finishes.
Yes, our Melamine desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. Please contact us via the Contact page or email help@desky.com.au directly so we can help organise for your desk. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Melamine desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
Before installation, I saw the table board and the supporting parts, and the effect is really good, and it won't shake even if it is raised to the highest 128cm. I thought it would be hard to move it, but the pads under the table legs make it easy to move. The black walnut tabletop is also better than I thought. The only downside is that the motor for lifting is a bit loud, but that's acceptable.
