Three-layer cross-hatch lamination: Our bamboo desktops are manufactured using thousands of bamboo strips that have been UV cured, laminated and layered in a cross-hatch formation resulting in one of the strongest desks in our range.
Durable Coating: The bamboo desktop after being assembled is then coated using multiple layers of polyurethane finish which seal the bamboo pieces and ensures that the desk will last a lifetime. This coating is non-toxic, child friendly and also spill-resistant.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

No, unfortunately our bamboo and Ergo Edge desktop ranges are only available in select sizes and shapes. You can choose either a rectangular or curved desktop.

Yes, we offer this frame in 3 colours: white, matte black and grey.
Our bamboo desktops are made from 100% compressed solid bamboo reeds that do not contain any harmful chemicals. The bamboo is finished and sealed with a wear resistant UV coating to provide a protective and durable finish.
No, bamboo is actually 40% stronger than most hardwoods and provide a rigid and durable desktop that will not sag under load or at longer lengths. However, bamboo is still subject to wear and tear and can scratch like other desktops.
Yes, our desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. Please contact us via the Contact page or email help@desky.com.au directly so we can help organise for your desk. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.

I purchased then natural bamboo near perfect desk to save products going to waste. I can't even tell what the flaw is!

I went to their Darra store as I wasn�t able to make up my mind about the desk top. Staff were absolutely amazing and answered all of my questions. I chose dark bamboo desk top and absolutely love it. Over all desk is very sturdy, easy to assemble and operate, comfortable. I also got in desk power and cable management tray. Best decision to include these as now I have only one cable going from the desk to the wall plug and everything looks neat and clean. Desk is also easy to clean and maintain. I have no complaints.
