Desky offers a wide range of hardwood desk tops, sourced from various regions to ensure quality and sustainability. Our Walnut wood comes from America, along with White oak, while Maple is sourced from Canada. White ash and Black Ash are sourced from France, and White Oak is also sometimes sourced from Germany. We also utilize Teak wood and Saman from Laos, as well as Pheasantwood and Acacia butcher block from responsibly managed forests in Vietnam.
Each hardwood desk is carefully selected and crafted to create durable and beautiful desk tops. With our commitment to responsible sourcing, you can enjoy the natural beauty of hardwood while supporting sustainable practices.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness.
This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is pro actively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness.
The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.

Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.

The DESKY Single Sit Stand desk frame is powered by a single electric motor that has an 80kg capacity and height range of 73-123 cm. The DESKY Dual Sit Stand desk frame is our premium desk frame powered by a dual motor system with 150kg capacity and best in class height range of 60-125 cm.
Our solid wood desktops are built to last and will actually harden over time. While they can get scratches and dents, many people feel this simply adds character. As the wood ages naturally, its colour may also shift, becoming slightly lighter or darker. Each desktop is finished with a smooth, durable polyurethane coating for protection.
Our Hardwood desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
Unfortunately, our Hardrwood desktops are only available in a select range of rectangular sizes and do not have an Ergo Edge option.

Yes, we offer this frame in 4 colours: white, matte black, grey and space grey.
All of our Pheasantwood desktops have a unique front and back 'Live' edge. This means that no two desktops are the same and each edge will have the characteristic undulations of the natural shape of the timber slab it was cut from.
Please note: the edges will vary from square to rounded and each will vary in terms of the slope of the edge and the undulating shape of the edge. The first corner image on the product listing helps to best show how the edge can look.
Yes, our Hardwood desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.

Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Hardwood desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
I had been shopping around for a few years looking for the right Standing/Sitting desk, and from all my research, it said you often get what you pay for. So I decided to invest the money into a Desky setup and two months in, I’m loving my decision.
You will pay a higher premium with Desky vs other competitive brands, but if your someone like me that intends to add multiple custom options to the Desk (drawers, mounts, monitor stands, cable organizers), Desky has far more and in my opinion, better options.
For mine, I went with a 60” x 30” walnut hardwood dual desk on black legs.
I chose the option with the matching drawer, added the cable management system with 1 power strip (3 plugs and two usb), a matching monitor stand, and a swivel under mount drawer.
All options fit beautifully on the desk without getting in the way of controls or causing my legs to bump into things.
Some highlights:
The desk raises and lowers at a good speed and is relatively quiet.
Most of the desk slab had pre drilled and threaded holes to make assembly easier. I only had to drill holes for the swivel drawer and slider drawer.
Desky's craftsmanship is easy to appreciate. From the high-quality hardwood to the well-designed power cord lines, this standing desk offers an enjoyable experience to any user. I recommend.

So far so good definitely like the quality of the hard wood, functional buttons and sturdy built. Very quiet up and down motors. Assemble time was about 45 minutes with two people.

For 25 years at my desk 1 day a week traveling the others. In January changed jobs: home based job at my desk 50 hours a week! Started to have neck pain, rib pain from sitting to long--treated myself to a DESKY--and a cube timer from Amazon to go off every 30 minutes/or every 60 minutes to remind me to change positions! It's perfect now. This desk was so easy to assemble, very quiet movement and is TOP quality! I have a hard time spending $$ and this desk was so worth it. I got SOLID wood and it's gorgeous. I hope you can see the colors in the photo. I cannot recommend enough!
I was unsure about getting a desk from Desky because they're prices are higher than competitors but I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and while I had some sticker shock, there's nothing I don't love about this desk.

The quality of the desk is premium, the motor and power is appropriate and although the delivery of the pieces seemed daunting, the YouTube guide to set up was incredibly easy to follow.
