Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness.
This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops.
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces.
These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

Yes! Our Desky Hardwood L-Shape Sit-Stand Desks offer the flexibility to switch the return from left to right. This adaptable feature is available with the desktop materials: Eco Melamine, Bamboo, Softwood, and Rubberwood. Yes, we offer the choice of having your desk configured with either a left or right return. You can select this when choosing the desktop size and colour. The return is the shorter side of the desktop.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 200kg capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 140kg.
Our solid wood desktops are built to last and will actually harden over time. While they can get scratches and dents, many people feel this simply adds character. As the wood ages naturally, its colour may also shift, becoming slightly lighter or darker. Each desktop is finished with a smooth, durable polyurethane coating for protection.
Unfortunately, our Hardwood desktops are only available in a select range of rectangular sizes.

For ease of shipping and assembly, all L-shaped desktops come in two pieces, the main desk (1) and the return (2). We include all the necessary hardware to join and align both pieces seamlessly.
Yes, our desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly takes about 45 minutes. Our desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection, no power tools needed. We recommend two people for flipping the desk upright after assembly.

We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
I looked at standing desk options for some time and landed on Desky. The packaging, instructions and quality are all great. Cord management is great, I didn’t want a bunch of ugly cords hanging. It was expensive but looks I am happy with my purchase
I finally decided to get a proper home office setup and am happy I went with Desky. The desk is huge, beautiful, and so easy to adjust. The instructions were clear and the videos helped on that front. The only wish is that there were markings to drill for the drawer (that was pretty nerve-wracking drilling into the desktop). Also within the instructions, I would add a note that the drawer should be added before the desk is flipped over. Definitely more than 45 minutes to assemble but that isn't a drawback. There are a few very minor imperfections on the desk finish, but these are hidden under the felt deskpad. The cable management is awesome. The only wire I see is a single USB-C to connect my laptop and there's no getting away from that! I appreciate that the desktop is attached via embedded hardware so that should I move the desktop can be taken apart and reassembled without damage - this thing can't fit through the door.
Besides the desk, I also purchased the pro ergonomic chair with the nice wheels, laptop riser, and monitor arm. I couldn't be more pleased. The monitor arm is easy to adjust and rock-solid. The chair super comfortable and simple to adjust to vary my position throughout the day.

The quality of the desk is amazing and the ability to sit and stand throughout the day is a game changer. No more sore back and hips. My long days at the desk for work don’t seem so long now.
Delivery of my L-shaped Desky was quick. Assembly is not very difficult but really requires two persons and about 1.5 hours. Plenty of quality hardware is included (more than you need).
The desk itself is impressively well built of high quality materials. All components are sturdy and rock solid. The desk does not move at (rock, shift, or sway) all while I work. Operation is quiet and interacting with the push button interface is very satisfying as the desk moves into a stored position.
I lingered a long time before I ordered, studying other brands and options. I have no regrets. If you like the look of the desk, no need to hesitate; you get good value for the price.
A tip for anyone considering their purchase: I bought the smaller size desk and have real regrets about not buying the larger one instead. This is chiefly related to my purchase of the desk drawer accessory. The drawer installs on one side, but needs clearance from the left edge of the desk, due to obstruction of the support legs. This means it sits about 4 inches from the left edge. While this works, placement is tight, as I cannot open the drawer without rolling my office chair back. The drawer installed location (with dimensions) is not clear from the online description of the desk or drawer, and when I chatted with support before my purchase, no installation dimensions were offered.
My tip: if you want to purchase the drawer, buy the desk with the larger top.

I love my new Desky Hardwood L-Shape Sit Stand Desk. It fits perfectly in my study. It was quite challenging to find an L-Shape Sit Stand Desk of this size online, as most large desks come in one piece. The quality of this desk is outstanding, and there's plenty of room on the desk for all my things without needing to move them around or worry about it getting messy.
This was the perfect desk that I was desperately trying to find. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Bought corner standing desk and few accessories, delivery was as promised and traceable all the way. Very thoughtful packaging, had 16 boxes deliver at one time and absolutely everything came undamaged. Called helpline while assembling and support was great too. Will buy more products from Desky.
Great. It is extremely spacious and very modern and good quality. Only thing I suggest is perhaps more lead time ahead as I had to wait over half an hour for pick up as they didn’t match my tables (they had to match the variances as it was an L shaped desk) beforehand. As a result, I was late for my next appointment.
